Nadalié USA Announces a Change in Ownership

Calistoga, CA, October 1, 2017 – The family of Nadalié companies, including Nadalié USA, Tonnellerie Nadalié, and Tonnellerie Marsannay, and other brands owned by the Nadalié group, are pleased to announce some exciting changes. After years of working side-by-side with their parents, the fifth-generation of the Nadalié family are now the owners of the 115-year-old company. Continuing the legacy established by the generations before them, Christine, Stephane, Guillaume, and Vincent, will own and manage all aspects of the cooperages with a great respect and deference to the tradition and partnerships that make Nadalié among the most highly regarded family-owned cooperages in the world.

The Nadalié family has lived in the Médoc, France since the 1930’s. From their upbringing in such a unique location, and after working alongside their parents for years, the siblings are well-suited to lead the Nadalié Group. “My siblings and I have been working for the company for many years and have learned a great deal from our parents and other long-serving staff members”, said Vincent Nadalié, “honesty, respect for our employees and clients, and the importance of enjoying life, are things we have valued for five generations. We appreciate the legacy we are now overseeing and we look forward to continuing this tradition while adding a new dynamic to the company”.

As for their roles in the company, Vincent is now the President of Nadalié USA and will continue to oversee the National Sales Team. Stephane is the President of the Nadalié Group while Guillaume remains the President of Nadalié Oak Add ins. Christine remains in the crucial role of V.P. of Sales for the Nadalié Group, General Manager of Marsannay, and will remain the winemaker of her two brands, Beau-Rivage and Clos la Boheme.

About Nadalié USA: Founded in 1980, Nadalié USA is the first French cooperage in America. Located in Calistoga, CA, the Nadalié USA production facility handcrafts American oak barrels and imports French oak barrels made at the Nadalié cooperages in France. By continuing the tradition of handcrafting barrels in the traditional French style, the name Nadalié has become synonymous with fine cooperages worldwide.
