2020 marked the 40th anniversary of the founding of Tonnellerie Francaise in Calistoga, CA. Since 1980 we have forged relationships, partnered with countless winemakers around the globe, and gained invaluable experience – we’ve rolled up our sleeves and worked hard, put in the hours, had many “spirited” family discussions, and learned through many trials (and even more errors along the way). 

As the 5th generation of Nadalié’s, we’re always looking to the future and ways to innovate, create, and continuously provide the very best products. To the clients that have become friends, winemakers that have grown up in the industry and allowed us to grow with them, our loyal partners, and of course the dedicated staff who are the heart of this company – we thank you.

Here, at our Napa Valley Cooperage, our skilled coopers hand-craft each American, Hybrid, and Eastern European oak barrel.

We take great pride in the fact that 50% of our artisans have been producing our barrels for more than 25 years, with an impressive average tenure of 18+ years. These skilled craftsmen have devoted their careers to mastering the art of cooperage, preserving and perfecting French traditions that have been passed down through generations.

Each step of the way, from raw material to delivery, our employees are proud to play a crucial role in a Made-In-America product of superior quality and distinction.
